Kenneth J. Ford

Kenneth J. Ford, 76, of Mineral Ridge, passed away early Monday morning, September 30, 2024, at Aventura Assumption Village. Born on September 20, 1948, in Ravenna, a son of the late Jonathan Lester and Kathleen (Hannan) Ford. Ken grew up in the Garrettsville area and graduated from Garrettsville High School. He dedicated over 30 years to the Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority in maintenance before retiring.

A lover of dogs, Ken volunteered for many years with the Animal Welfare League, where he investigated cases of animal cruelty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Ford, in April 2020.

Ken is survived by his son, Donnie (Mary) Ford of Boardman; daughters, Leslie (Ken) Lude of Salem and Jennifer (Mike) Moyer of Cortland; step-son, Jim (Joan) Necastro of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Janis Elliott of Florida and Jenifer (Jim) Post of Garrettsville. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane DeZort and four brothers, Jim Hannan, Larry Hannan, Eddie Hannan and Bill Gillespie.

In accordance with Kenneth’s wishes, there will be no services.
