London Jan Bradshaw, 74, of Pensacola FL, died Saturday February 13, 2016 at West Florida Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Bradshaw was born on September 26, 1941 in Newton Grove, NC. A son of the late Romie and Grace (Langdon) Bradshaw. London grew up in Portsmouth, VA and he attended Woodrow Wilson High School. In 1958 he proudly enlisted in the Army's 101ST Airborne Division as a paratrooper. He later joined the 1ST Special Forces, serving in Southeast Asia, and was a member of the Special Forces Association. After serving the Army for three years, he was honorably discharged. London then worked in construction and attended college in California. He later moved to Truckee, CA, then to Reno, NV where he was a millwright for General Motors center. He had lived in Pensacola, FL for the past 16 years. He will be sadly missed by his brothers; Garland (Ruth) Bradshaw of Cortland, John (Peggy) Bradshaw of West Palm Beach, FL, a sister, Ellen (Arthur) Hall of Garner, NC, niece Rachael (Tim) Sullivan of Philadelphia, and Gordon (Sandra Re) Sims of Fairfield, CA, Joseph Sims of Lake Tahoe, CA. He also leaves behind his former wife Marilyn Matamoros. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 140 Cherry Ave NW Warren, with Pastor Bill Leitch officiating. Friends may call a half hour prior to services at the church. Care was entrusted to Lane family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel.
