Private graveside services will be held on Monday for Louis G. Benyei of Canfield who passed away on Friday morning at Briarfield Care Center. Louis was born June 16, 1918 in Youngstown the son of Louis and Mary (Soos) Benyei. A graduate of Chaney High School, Louis was a long time resident of the West Side. He was a machinist at Youngstown Sheet and Tube and eventually retired from the McKay Foundry. Besides his wife, the former Virginia Robinson who he married January 18, 1939, Louis leaves three daughters: Pam Hobbs of Austintown, Kerry and her husband Guy Hull of Vienna, and Debbie Harris of Canfield. He also leaves six grandchildren: Brad Hobbs, Nikole (Brad) Hershfeldt, Scott (Meghan) Hull, Erin Hull, Tristan Harris, and Miles Harris as well as two great-grand daughters: Brenna and Madelyn Hull. Louis also leaves a sister in law Mary Benyei of Texas, a niece Pat Schauweker, and his good friend Michael Schaak. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Benyei.
