Marianita D. 'Nita' (Ceprado) Yakubik, age 44, of Kinsman, loving mother and devoted wife went to heaven to be with her Lord on Monday, June 25, 2007, dying of injuries sustained in a car accident in Columbus. She was born August 22, 1962 in Sinuyak Katipunan Zamboanga del Norte, Phillipines the daughter of Cayetano P. and Magdalena P. (Deloria) Ceprado. Nita became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. on March 14, 2002 and was employed by Kraftmaid in Orwell. She is survived by her husband Thomas S. Yakubik, whom she married November 21, 1990; one son, Thomas S.C. Yakubik and one daughter, Krystal Lynn both at home; her parents Cayetano and Magdalena Ceprado of the Phillipines; four brothers, Edmundo, Ruston, Raymond and Limbert and one sister, Analiza Ceprado all of the Phillipines; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Donna Yakubik of Kinsman; an aunt and uncle, Rose and John Walsh of Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Daniel Yakubik of Kinsman and David (Dona) Yakubik of Bristolville; sister-in-law, Faith (Darrell) White of Southington; a nephew, Michael White of Cortland; 3 nieces, Rosemarie Walsh and Theresa Smith of Tennessee and Melissa White of Bristolville; great nephews, Abram Matalino Smith of Tennessee; Darren and Chase Simmons of Bristolville and Tristian White of Cortland. Nita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clara Bartosa and Primitivo Deloria. Nita will always be fondly remembered for her love of family and spending time with her family, gardening and crafts. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2007. Funeral services will be at Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel, 164 North High Street at 10:00 am Saturday, July 7, 2007 with Rev. Darrell G. White officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
