Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Marion Piper McClintock, 86, who died Monday morning at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Home in Boardman. She was born June 30, 1924 in Warren, the daughter of Henry and Rebecca (Cook) Fyfe and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1943 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Youngstown. She worked in the medical profession for several doctors and facilities for more than 30 years before retiring from the former Sleigh Bell Nursing Home in Austintown in 1988. She was of the Protestant faith and she enjoyed reading and shopping. She married Clyde McClintock in December 1976 and he preceded her in death August 15, 1987. She is survived by three children; Sharyn (David) Bair of New Springfield, John (Patricia) Piper of Sarasota, FL, and Glen (Diane) Piper of Canfield. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from noon-1:30pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of The Valley in Marion's memory.
