Family time was so important to Mary. She made it a point to have weekly family dinners so everyone would stay close. She loved cooking and baking as well as reading and caring for her dog. Mary also volunteered at the Inn at Christine Valley for over 10 years. Each week she and her daughter, Sheri, would play bingo with the residents. Mary also participated in the United Way's Day of Caring for the past eight years and was a member of Western Reserve United Methodist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harry Delp. Mary is loved, remembered and celebrated by her son John (Diane) Kopey of Michigan, her daughter Sheri (Scott) Nelson of Boardman; two sisters Vera (Bo) Delp and Kathy (Jeanie) O'Shanic of Texas; two grandsons Mike (Michelle) Phillips of Austintown and Matt Kopey of Indiana; and one great-grandson Mikey Phillips of Austintown.
