Mary Louise McCaslin, 87, of Southington, passed away October 6, 2012 at her home. Mary Louise was born December 2, 1924 in Indiana, PA to John and Florence (Jones) Barnoff. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Warren, and helped organize its golf and bowling leagues. Mary also was a longtime member of the Chip and Putt Golf League, enjoyed gardening, painting, embroidery, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also famous for her homemade peanut brittle. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George "Whitey" McCaslin; one daughter Barbara (Norman) Alessi of Ann Arbor, MI; two sons, Richard (Pat) McCaslin of Wellington and Michael (Linda) McCaslin of Southington; four grandchildren Jacqueline, Vincent, Matthew and Erin. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St. Warren, OH. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
