CORTLAND- Mary Lucille Beaumont, 94, of Cortland died Wednesday afternoon, November 12, 2014, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born January 22, 1920 in Uniontown, PA., the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Mary Leslie McDade. Lucille was an active member of Cortland Christian Church and a member of the Opal Chapter No. 181 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Cortland. She worked for Lakeview Local Schools as a secretary at the high school for 17 years before retiring in June of 1981. She is survived by two sons, Lynn A. (Bonnie) Beaumont of Rittman and Bruce L. (Mindy) Beaumont of Texas; 5 grandchildren, Matthew R. (Carla) Beaumont, Kari L. (Aaron) Ide, Kathryn (Ed) Burk, Laura Beaumont and Michael Beaumont; 7 great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph McDade of Arkansas and two sisters, Margaret Morris of Florida and Delores Ann Horne of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Fred W. Beaumont, whom she married July 3, 1942, on August 11, 2012. Two brothers, James and Arthur McDade and one sister, Ruth McDade also preceded her in death. A memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Cortland Christian Church, 153 Grove Street in Cortland at 12 p.m., where the family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #540, 5789 Louise Avenue NW, Warren, OH 44483.
