Mary Robincheck

November 12, 1912 — June 20, 2010

Mary Robincheck, 97, of Warren passed away peacefully at 11:55 AM Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Nov. 12, 1912 in Helvetia, PA the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Shubert) Fender. A Trumbull County resident for most of her life, Mary was employed by the housekeeping department at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 15 years retiring in 1981. Her faith was a very important part of her life and she was a long time member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling to casinos, but most important to her was her family. Her beloved husband George whom she married July 13, 1933 preceded her in death Sept.6, 1967. She also was preceded in death by 2 daughters Mary Ann Mazarik, Arlene L. Robincheck, son-in-law Thomas Birney, 3 grandchildren Richard Mazarik, April Wogan, Thomas A. Birney, and 4 brothers, Joseph, Andrew, Michael, and Victor Fender. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Ginny Birney of Bay City, MI, son-in-law Richard Mazarik of Warren, sister Virginia Madgar of Warren, grandchildren Lisa Mazarik of Tampa, FL, Linda (Robert) Gehrls of DeWitt, MI, Bridget (Michael) Leibinger of Saginaw, MI, Caron (John) Teenier of Saginaw, MI, Thomas Wogan of Hanover, OH, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service 11:00 AM Monday June 7, 2010 at Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church preceded by a 10:30 prayer service at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 9:30-10:30. The Rev. Andrew Deskevich will officiate. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. The family suggests material contributions be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church or to the Donor’s favorite charity.
