Mary Roscoe

Mary Roscoe, 89, of Niles, passed away Thursday June 26, 2008, Shepherd of the Valley in Howland at 1:50 P.M. Mary was born August 29, 1918, in Cokeburg, PA., the daughter of the late Andrew and Susan (Vojtovich) Darno. Mary was a 1937 graduate of Ambridge High School. She worked at Ohio Lamp for 10 years in the 1940s. Mary was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Mary's husband Joseph Roscoe, whom she married July 19, 1941, passed away February 6, 1970. Mary leaves her daughter Marilyn (Larry) Rambo of Vienna; Son Joseph Roscoe of Niles; siblings Andrew Darno of Ambridge, PA, John Darno of Warren, Joe Darno of Baden, PA, Ann Darno of Ambridge, PA, and George Darno of Ambridge, PA; two grandchildren Courtney (Matthew) Hummel of Clarion, PA, and Christopher Rambo of Vienna. Father Robert Karl will officiate a funeral mass at 12 PM at SS Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church where the family will be receiving friends and hour prior to the service. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that material contributions be made in Mary's memory to the church, 180 Belvedere Ave. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.
