Mary Rose Rosen

Funeral services will be 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Mary Rose Rosen, 55 of Youngstown who lost her battle to cancer Sunday evening with her family at her side. Mary was born July 10, 1959 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Helen D. Cahill Neff and was a lifelong area resident. Mary Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She was a strong woman with a heart of a lion who loved her family more than anything. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary leaves her husband John, whom she married December 2, 1989; two daughters, Kelly (Layne) Shumaker of Struthers, Kimberly (Chris) Coggins of Youngstown, one son, Nick Rosen of Youngstown; 6 grandchildren, Kailee, Alayna, Averi and Samme Shumaker, Lexis and Zackery Coggins; a sister, Patty (Hank) Bauer of Austintown; several nieces and nephews, Michael Swanson, Kevin Swanson, Keith Swanson and Dawn Fountain. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Seaman and two infant daughters, Bobbi and Kayla. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:15 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
