Michael Fani

Michael Fani, age 85 of Brookfield, passed away June 1, 2024, at his home with his loving family. He was born in Oliver, PA to the late Nello, Sr. and Rose Fier Fani. 

Michael was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His joy in life was spending time with his family. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. 

Michael was a graduate of Uniontown High School class of 1955. After high school he married his loving wife Judy Fani in 1961. He worked for Sharon Steel for 30 years until their closing then, finished his career as a security guard at Valley View and the Cafaro Company. He was an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed baking and his specialty was his apple pies. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Frank Fani

He is survived by his wife Judy Fani; children, Terri (Rick) Roman, Kelly Fani, and Lisa (Robert) O’Kresik; grandchildren, Zachary Roman, Kaitlyn O’Kresik, and Tyler Roman; siblings, Mary Jo Shuba, Nello Fani, Jr., Patty Neff, and Linda Humphreyz.  

Calling hours will be 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2024, at Lane Funeral Home, Madasz Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Rd. Brookfield, OH 44403 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
