Norman Francis Johnson Jr

Norman Francis Johnson passed away Thursday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Norman was born January 19, 1928 in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania a son of the late Norman F. and Florence (Seyler) Johnson. A veteran of the United States Army, Norman worked as an electrician for RMI for 43 years, retiring in 1985. He was a former member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ and the Evansville Baptist Church, and was a member of the VFW Post 4192 in Mineral Ridge. His wife the former Geraldine McCormick, whom he married May 8, 1948, passed away May 13, 2002. Norman will be sadly missed by his children: Bonnie (John) Burk of Mineral Ridge, Robert (Nancy) Johnson of Mineral Ridge and William (Leann) Johnson of McDonald; one sister Mona Rintala of The Villages, FL; five grandchildren: and nine great grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, Norman is preceded in death by a sister Florence Nethers. Friends may call from 10 am until 11 am Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Mineral Ridge Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday.
