Olive Amelia Shuster Austintown- A Memorial service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown, for Olive Amelia Shuster, 80 who died Wednesday evening at Akron General Hospice Center. Mrs. Shuster was born May 17, 1934 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (Heidenger) Meredith. Olive worked as a claims processor for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a former member of Martin Luther Lutheran church and Zion Lutheran Church in Tucson, Arizona. She was also formerly involved in Craft Masters, a group that made quilts and lap blankets for different charities. She leaves behind her daughter Debra (Larry) Shields of Stow and son Ronald Shuster of Texas, four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Marilyn Briguglio of Austintown brothers John Meredith of Girard and Tom Meredith of Albuquerque, N.M. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Clair H. Shuster whom she married on June 1, 1957. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4:30 until the time of services at 6pm at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron General Hospital of Visiting Nurse Services, Justin T. Rogers Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333.
