Peggy Ann Moody

Peggy A. Moody, 75 of Bristolville, OH passed away at 11:50 PM, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Born on September 21, 1934 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Burtis C. and Myrtle (Tietrick) Ogden. Moving to the area in 1953 from West Virginia, Peggy was a homemaker and had enjoyed Bingo, and crafts. Survivors include her two sons, Donald (Diana) Moody of Cortland, OH and Jeffrey (Jeanie) Moody of Bristolville, OH; her two sisters Sue (Ed) Shook of West Virginia, and Shirley Newlon of Kentucky; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband William O. Moody in 2007, her parents, a brother, sister and grandson Mark Moody. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening from 7-9:00 PM at the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel, 164 North High Street Cortland, OH 44410. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sager Memorial Park in Bristolville, OH.
