Philip J Craciun

Philip J. Craciun, 62, of Austintown passed away peacefully Monday, August 5, 2013 at Hospice House. He was born November 20, 1950 in Youngstown the son of Harold and Genevieve Craciun. Philip was a 1969 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and retired from GM with 40years of service as a coordinator in the fabrication plant. He was a member of Bogey Brothers Gold League at Lakeside Golf Course, and an avid Indians and Browns Fan. He will always be remembered for his smile and putting a smiley face everywhere. He will be missed by his three sons; Brian and Thomas Craciun, both of Youngstown, Mark (Sarah) Craciun of N. Jackson, and two brothers; George Craciun, of Austintown and David Craciun of Mesa, AZ. Philip was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held 7:00pm, Sunday August 11, 2013 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Friends will be received from 5:00pm until the time of the service.
