Raymond E. Cochran, 92, of Vienna, passed away July 3, 2014 at the St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. Raymond was born April 9, 1922 in Butler, PA, son of Dewey and Frances (Mortimer) Cochran. He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, before entering the US Navy. He was stationed aboard a Destroyer while serving during WWII as a Machinist. After being discharged, he was employed by Aetna Standard before transferring to Wean United where he worked as a Machinist until his retirement in 1981. Raymond is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Richards-Batisky (Donald) of Canfield; two brothers, Timothy Cochran (Debbie) of North Port, FL. and Terry Cochran of Brazoria, TX; three grandchildren, Amber, Timothy and Sean as well as two great grandchildren, Raven and Chase. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Thelma and one sister Rosemary Cochran. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday July 11, 2014 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. Warren, OH 44460. A private interment will follow in the Crown Hill Burial Park.
