Richard L. Sandor Sr.--71 Austintown—Services will be Monday at 11:00 St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church for Richard L. Sandor Sr. of Austintown who passed away Wednesday evening at North Side Medical Center. Richard was born September 4, 1932 in Bobtown, PA a son of John and Elizabeth (Bobrick) Sandor and came to this area in 1966. Richard was a plant operator for Heckett MultiServ for 25 years retiring in 1994. He was also a member of the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church and a United States Army Veteran. Richard is survived by mother of Parma; his wife the former Geraldene Drop whom he married April 30, 1955; three children: Richard L. Sandor Jr. of Memphis, TN, Cheryl L. Dick and Sharon S. Duke both of Austintown; two sisters Mary Jones of Parma, OH; Martha Wyda of Pittsburgh, PA.; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by his father and two brothers Michael and John Sandor. Friends may call 2 to 4 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
