Ronald Jonesco, 72, of North Jackson, Ohio, passed to Heaven peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on April 19th, 2024. He was born January 10th, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Emanuel Jonesco and Ann (Melick) Jonesco and was a 1970 graduate of South High School. Ronald went on to marry the love of his life, Barbara (Prasek) Jonesco on January 15th, 1973, after meeting at a local dance hall. After high school, he went on to work at Conti Plumbing. He was also employed by Thomas Steel Strip and retired from Prout Boiler in 2014 as a plumber journeyman of 40 years. Ronald went on to work part-time for Y&S Supply after retirement and he was still an active member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 396.
Ron had many interests and passions, such as attending car shows, cutting the grass, and enjoying the outdoors in the sun, but his number one passion was spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron’s love and respect he had for his wife was the greatest gift, as was the love he had for his brother and his parents. He instilled the love of Jesus into his family, taught them to be there for one another and that kindness and respect could get you further in life than anything. He served as an exceptional leader and role model by always helping others.
Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Jonesco; brother Rick Jonesco; eight children, Michelle (Matthew) Mingo; Cheryl Jonesco; Michael Jonesco; Dave Jonesco; Matthew Jonesco (Nick); Melissa Jonesco (Jimmy); Melody (Chris) Ross; and Christina Jonesco (Jason); and 7 grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, Marisa, Christian, Finn, Levi, and Luke.
Ron was preceded in death by parents Ann and Emanuel Jonesco.
Per Ron’s wishes, a private burial will be taking place.
