Rose Temperence Klink

Rose T. Klink, age 57, of Bristolville, OH., died Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Akron Children's Hospital Burn Unit in Akron, OH. She was born on September 13, 1950 in Morgantown, WV., the daughter of Henry L. Klink Sr. and the late Jacqueline F. (Hawkins) Klink. Miss Klink was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was employed by Packard Electric where she had worked for 30 years, retiring in 2002. Rose was a member of the Cortland Moose Lodge and enjoyed spending her time outdoors. She loved sitting outside and playing country music with her father. She enjoyed riding her 4 wheeler and motorcycle as well as spend time on her computer. Rose was a very kind and giving person who loved helping her family and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the privileged of knowing her. She is survived by her longtime friend and partner, Pam Dando of Mineral Ridge, OH. Her father, Henry L Klink Sr. of Espyville, PA., and one brother, Henry L. (Catherine E.) Klink Jr. of Greenville, PA. She is also survived by one nephew, Jared Klink, two nieces, Jennifer Klink and Kimberly (Ben) Furey and great nephew, Bryce Furey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Klink and one brother, Barry W. Klink. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel, 164 North High Street, Cortland, OH., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2007. The family will receive friends again on Monday, Sept 24, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, 501 Morgantown Rd., Point Marion, PA. Funeral service will be at the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in Point Marion, PA., where a military service will be held.
