Roy B. Abram

Funeral services will be held at 1:45 PM on Wednesday at Crown Hill Burial Park for Roy B. Abram of Heiser Rd. in Berlin Center who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday. Mr. Abram was born April 3, 1923 in Maple Heights, Ohio the son of Frederick and Thelma (McMilan) Abram. Roy retired to a horse farm in 1977 after working forty- two years as a technician at Ohio Bell and AT&T He also loved spending time with his family and woodworking. Besides his wife, Jeanne (Patton) Abram, whom he married in 1947, Roy leaves two children: Frank R. Abram of New Jersey and Joyce R. Shirley of Berlin Center. He also leaves a sister Diane Hickey of Hudson, OH. and a brother Robert Abram of Twinsburg, OH as well as eight grandchildren and a great-grandson. Friends and family may call from 6-8 PM Tuesday and from 12-1 Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Pioneer Club of Ohio Bell for Special Olympics.
