Ruby A. Nashette

Austintown- Memorial services will be held 5 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Ruby A. Nashette, age 82 died Saturday evening at Austinwoods Care Center. Ruby was born April 17, 1928 in Youngstown and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Blanche (Leonard) Jones. She retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had worked in housekeeping for 15 years. She was formerly a member of St. Dominic's Church in Youngstown. Her husband Robert E. Nashette whom she married in 1952 died March 28, 2001. She is survived by four children, Grace Hollarn of Austintown, Robert A. Nashette of Youngstown, Tracy L. (John Wright) Botsko of Austintown, Robin E. (Norman) Philippi of Florida, six sisters; Nellie Shoenberger of Youngstown, Gertrude Dudley of Austintown, Vivian Serrecchio of Canfield, Shirley Fair of Florida, and Sara Copper of Hubbard. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Denny, Anne, Dean, Michael, Zachary, Justin and Ashley and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, Janet Lee, five sisters, Vera Taylor, June Vitto, Rosalie Bergman, two infant sisters and two brothers Joseph and Edwin Jones. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-5 PM Friday prior to the service.
