Ruth A. Williams

Austintown-Funeral services will be held at 7 pm Thursday evening at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Ruth Williams who died Sunday morning at her residence. Ruth was born June 1, 1937 the daughter of John VanDyke and Mary Ellen (Glasser) . Ruth was a member or Our Lady of Hungry Church. She graduated from Chaney High School and loved to socialize with other people. She was raised by her parents William and Mary Ellen Glasser. Ruth is survived by her daughters; Tammy A. Davis and Pamela A. (Daryl Johnson) Snyder both of Austintown, grandchildren; Sarah Lynn Snyder, Ross D. (Cassie) Davis, Christina M. Snyder and her great granddaughters, Alexis Marie Davis and Makiya Simpson, sister; Barbara (Ray) Mele of Niles and brother John VanDyke of Boardman. She was preceded in death by her husband David E. Williams whom she married August 13, 1957 and who died February 2, 2008. Family and friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to services.
