Ruth Logue Brown, 91, of Warren passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 28, 2010 in Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Howland where she was also a resident. Born June 16, 1918 in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Smith) Logue. A 1938 graduate of Warren G. Harding high school, Ruth retired from Ohio Lamp after working in quality control for more than 35 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran church, a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Republican Women's club, and the Upton House. Years ago Ruth volunteered her time at Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a "Pink Lady" and most recently enjoyed playing BINGO. She will be dearly missed by her children Keith and his wife Connie Brown of Columbus and Diane and her husband Robert Ziegler of Canfield, three grandchildren, Keisha Rotkiske and Kaci Brown both of Columbus and Kevin Ziegler of Oregon, and by a great grandson Joe Rotkiske. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Kurt Ziegler and a brother Charles Logue. The Rev. Dee Emmert will conduct a funeral service on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 1PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel where family and friends may visit for two hours prior to the service from 11AM until 1PM. Burial will take place in the Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 140 Cherry Ave. NW Warren, OH 44485 or to Shepherd of the Valley, Howland Campus at 4100 N. River Rd. Warren, OH 44484.
