Ruth Moore

Private services were held for Ruth Moore who died Tuesday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Ruth was born January 18, 1919 in North Jackson the daughter of Homer and Christina (Kale) Moore and was a long time area resident. Ruth was a elementary teacher in the Jackson Milton and Howland School districts, retiring in 1979 after 40 years of teaching. She was a member of Lordstown Christian Church and many retired teacher’s organizations. She graduated from Jackson Milton High School and Kent State University. She is survived by a niece and nephew and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald and nephew James Moore. Following Ruth’s wishes there are no calling hours.
