Sue Ann Tempesta-Caszatt, beloved mother, wife, sister, and treasured presence in the lives of many, passed away at the age of 62 on February 9, 2024, in Southington, Ohio. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will be forever remembered by those who knew her.
Born Sue Ann Dumire in Warren, Ohio, she brought warmth and compassion to everyone she met. Her generous spirit and unwavering support touched the lives of many throughout her journey.
Sue is survived by her devoted son, Josh Tempesta, her loving husband, Jacob Caszatt, her dear sister, Sheri Dumire-Hamilton, her nieces, Genevieve and Gabrielle Hamilton, and numerous beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. For almost 40 years, Sue dedicated herself to caring for others as an LPN at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Her compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication to her patients left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
In addition to her role as a mother and LPN, Sue was a cherished friend and confidante to many. Her vibrant personality, quick wit, and infectious laughter lit up any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sue was also preceded in death by her parents, Vance, and Genevieve Dumire, and her first husband, Pete Tempesta. Sue had a deep love for her pet rottweilers. Bear brought her immense joy and companionship. She was also preceded in death by her beloved rottweiler, Dakota.
Sue will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lane Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr NE, Warren, OH 44483. Additional calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service starting at 11:00 AM at the same location.
