Thomas J. Colwell Youngstown-- A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, with a luncheon to follow, on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at the First Federated Church in N. Jackson for Thomas J. Colwell, 68, who died on Thursday March 13, 2014 at Salem Hospital. Mr. Colwell was born Sept. 8, 1945 in Ashtabula, the son of the late William and Ruth (Patterson) Colwell. Thomas worked for General Motors for many years, he most recently worked as a fork lift operator.He was a member of the First Federated Church in N. Jackson. He enjoyed collecting and working on Ham radios and was a part of the Ham radio club, he was also very interested in tesla. He loved animals and western movies and enjoyed joking around and pulling pranks on everyone. He also enjoyed dining at Dinos Restaurant in N. Jackson and Petros Truck stop in Warren. He leaves behind his children Elizabeth (John) Neeley and William Colwell both of Youngstown and his sister Molly R. Colwell of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl J. Colwell who died on April 3, 2010. Friends may call on Wednesday March 19, 2014 from 4-6pm at Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown.
