Valerie Anna (Kucera) Joseph

Valerie Anna (Kucera) Joseph, 87, of Mineral Ridge, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of the late Martin Kucera and Mabel (Johnston) Kucera in Hanover, PA on August 1st, 1936 and went on to graduate from Mineral Ridge High School. She worked for Packard Electric for 25 years as an inspector before retiring. She went on to marry the late Frank E. Joseph on February 2nd, 1956, creating 48 years of memories before his passing on May 17th, 2004.

Valerie had many hobbies, such as a member of The Red Hat Society, painting, gardening, puzzles, antiquing and mowing her grass, but her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family and riding her golf cart with her dog, Sugar.

Valerie leaves behind to carry on her memory, her son Frank and daughter-in-law Debbie Joseph; her grandson Brandon Joseph; and 2 brothers, Chuck Kucera and Bud Kucera. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to send a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate care at such a difficult time, as well as friends and family that stepped in to help when they were needed most.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in honor of Valerie to Hospice of the Valley or the Alzheimer's Association.
