Veronica Rose Luthern

GIRARD- Veronica “Vern” Rose Luthern, 18, of E. Main in Girard, passed away at 5AM Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Youngstown. The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office is investigating. Vern was born May 6, 1988 in Youngstown, Ohio and was the daughter of Michael and Denise (Morgan) Luthern. Vern attended Hubbard High School, where she played basketball, baseball, and was a cheerleader. She also enjoyed playing soccer and enjoyed dancing. Vern was a waitress at Nick’s Family Restaurant in Hubbard and was very outgoing and well liked by many. Vern is survived by her parents Michael Luthern of Hubbard and Denise Rose Luthern of Girard; paternal grandparents John Luthern and Patricia Rudolph both of Hubbard; maternal grandparents Dennis and Rosemary (Mazzella) Morgan of Girard; two sisters Melanie Angel Rose Luthern of Girard and Danni Rose Lewis of Hubbard; a brother David Damien Williams of Girard; an uncle Dennis “Denny” Morgan of Girard; an aunt Deborah “Bubb” Campbell of Girard; two cousins Justin Campbell and Dillon Morgan both of Girard; and by a host of friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 30, 2006 from 1PM to 3PM and 5PM to 8PM in the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM Saturday in the funeral home.
