A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Viola Concetta Ead, 87, of Berlin Center who passed away early Sunday morning in Briarfield of Ashley Circle. Viola was born December 8, 1922, in Wilmington Delaware, the daughter of Pietro and Carmela (Aielli) Grande. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Viola also worked at Northside Hospital as a nurse’s aid for about 10 years. She was former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown. Viola loved to crochet and was an avid book reader. She also loved the beach. Her husband, Feras S, Ead, whom she married October 11, 1945, passed away July 19, 1980. Viola leaves two children; Joseph Ead of Berlin Center and Marie (Chauncey) Fink with whom she made her home, one brother; Joseph Grande of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., seven grandchildren; Rebecca Crago, Rochelle Bahney, Jennine Ead, Angela Steplinski, Michele Neiswonger, Keith Fink, and Douglas Fink, as well as eleven great grandchildren; Vini and Jessica Crago, Evan and Kyle Steplinski, Cara and Joey Neiswonger, Celine Begley, Austin, Logan, Gabriel, and Isabella Fink. Besides her parents and husband, Viola is also preceded in death by a son; Michael S. Ead, two sisters; Annie Calio, and Mary Fileti, and two brothers; Anthony and Charles Grande. Family and friends may call from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
