Virgil V. Bennett

Youngstown—Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, for Virgil V. Bennett, 90 of Youngstown formally of Struthers who passed away Tuesday morning at Carrington South. Virgil was born September 24,1912 in Erbacon, West Virginia a son of Edward W. and Virginia (Weese) Bennett and came to this area in 1972.He was a Coal Miner in W. Virginia for 20 Yrs. His wife of 33 years, Argola Walker whom he married November 13,1943 passed away December 13, 1976. Virgil is survived by three daughters; Patricia Jones and Barbara Cole, both of Youngstown, and Carolyn Morrison of Atwater, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, Virgil is also preceded in death by a son Tom (Ralph) Bennett, a brother Fred Roy Weese and 4 Grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
