YOUNGSTOWN-Funeral services will be held at 10AM Monday in Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Wade officiating for William H. Reynolds Sr., who passed away suddenly Friday morning at his home. William was born on March 4, 1915 in New Castle, PA and was the son of Harry M. and Ida Mae (Jacob) Reynolds and moved here from New Castle in 1936. William retired on April 30, 1978 from Industrial Engine Service after working as a mechanic. William also worked for Bell Bakery. William was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Asia Pacific Theater during World War II. William was of the Protestant faith and was a former member of the Foster Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a 50 year member of the American Legion Post 732, and the Jr. Order of United American Mechanics. William married the former A. Beryl Emery on March 9, 1936; she preceded him in death on June 27, 2005. William is survived by his children Carol (Roger) Morrison of Youngstown; and William H. (Janet) Reynolds Jr. of Youngstown; four grandchildren Ronald (Joyce) Morrison, Michelle (Tim) Mangan, William H. (Nancy) Reynolds III, and Lorraine (John) Federovitch; and seven great grandchildren Stephen Frank, Jesse Morrison, Emily Morrison, Grace Morrison, Faith Ann Morrison, Skye Reynolds, and Mya Reynolds. Besides his wife, William was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Elizabeth P. Taylor, and a brother Harry M. Reynolds. Family will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM Sunday (TODAY) in the funeral home. Interment will take place with full military honor in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boardman.
