Obituary

Margaret R. King, 89, formerly of Warren, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 9:05AM at the White Oak Manor where she was a resident.

Born February 15, 1918 in Apollo, PA Margaret was the daughter of the late Jenny (Fulton) George and James Stottlemyer.

A graduate of Apollo High School, she retired in 1975 from Republic Steel where she worked as a lab technician for several years. Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, was active in the Girl Scouts, a past president of the Bolindale PTA and enjoyed travel and crafts.

She married John K. King February 13, 1937. John preceded her in death in 1989. Margaret is survived by her children, Nancy (George) Bradley of Vienna, Edward (Cindy) King of Covington, KY, Ruth Ann King of Warren, and Bonnie (Mike) Perpich of Cleveland, GA, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a brother Richard Stottlemyer of Kittanning, PA, and three sisters, Pauline Carnahan of Santa Clara, CA, Carrie Lou Carnahan of Killdevil, NC, and Dorothy George of Rural Valley, PA. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Goldie Lou King.

According to Margaret’s wishes there will be no calling hours and cremation will take place. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
